Steve: "Well it only takes one, but if I get 3 then I am pumped.
Choke Stoke: "How long have you been surfing with Rosie"
Steve: " Rosie started surfing with me when she was just 7 months old.
Choke Stoke: "How would you describe the energy that spreads with you both in the water?"
Steve: "Well, it is really easy to be stoked and having a good time surfing in the water with a happy yellow lab"
Choke Stoke: "What would she pick, ball or barrel?"
Steve: "LOL. I think she would pick barrel followed by ball."
Choke Stoke: "How do you describe the vibe in the water these days?"
Steve: "I'd have to say it has gotten a whole lot better than what it was in the 90s and 2000's. I think the parents these days are really supporting their kids and it shows."

Cruz: "Being in the water. I started surfing when I was 5 and just loved being able to stand up and go every day.
Choke Stoke: "So rad! What is your favorite surf break and why?"
Cruz: " Locally, Pleasure Point First Peak Left because I am goofy and like to go left and it can be super fun. Internationally or places out of town I have been, I like Uluwatu in Bali because it has fun sections.
Choke Stoke: "Pure heaven at those breaks! Do you have a favorite Hawaiian plate lunch?"
Cruz: "Chicken Teriyaki plate"
Choke Stoke: "Making me hungry. How would you describe amplifying positivity?"
Cruz: "Spread happiness when you are surfing with friends. I want to include everyone and make sure everyone is having a good time."
Choke Stoke: "So pumped to hear that. Aside from creating and riding the perfect wave while never having to go to school or work again...If you could change anything in this world, what would you do first?"
Cruz: "Get rid of all the trash in the ocean and on the beaches"
Choke Stoke: "Agree, we need to protect our oceans. We need more folks to get on board with this mindset"

Cruz: "I learned from my parents that its OK if you don't ride the wave your best. You can always get back out there in the lineup and ride the next one"
